As the last great carnivore of the Cretaceous period, Tyrannosaurus rex was a palaeontological super weapon that stalked the North American landscape. Tyrannosaurus had an incredibly strong nasal structure that enabled it to deliver crushing bites. The lower jaw delivered 10,000 Newtons of force, the equivalent weight of one pickup truck behind each tooth.
