The Calgary Zoo is committed to the conservation of endangered species, habitats and ecosystems both at home and around the world

The Centre for Conservation Research focuses on conservation efforts here at home with research and reintroduction work with Canadian species. The scientists at the Centre are experts in the area of reintroduction and protection of endangered species and are dedicated to the preservation of Canadian ecosystems.

Conservation Outreach lives and breathes conservation. Funds raised by the Outreach team support conservation programs from the Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary in West Africa to the snow leopards of the Himalayas, along with many programs here in Canada and around the world.
