With a partnership that began in 2003, Husky Energy is the lead supporter of the Husky Energy Endangered Species Program at the CCR. They have contributed to a wide variety of conservation projects within the CCR, ranging from funding grassroots leopard frog research to the reintroduction of species such as black-footed ferrets into the wild. Husky’s continued support reflects their dedication to the recovery of some of western Canada’s most unique and imperilled species.
A Canadian oil company, Cenovus Energy is a proud supporter of the CCR's northern leopard frog research. Their commitment to environmental sustainability, wildlife and watershed health is shown through their generous support of this program. This research will help fill key knowledge gaps necessary for the successful conservation of northern leopard frogs in Alberta.
Since 1962, the Canadian Wildlife Federation has been a leading force in Canadian wildlife conservation education, awareness and outreach. Their generous support and collaboration is key to the CCR achieving its goals of healthy wildlife populations in Canada and effective communication and outreach to all Canadians.
