Our unique collection of plants, animals and birds makes for a sometimes challenging but highly rewarding photography experience. Join SAIT's Wildlife photography instructor, Barry Giles for a guided photo safari on grounds as you explore some of the tricks of successful zoo photography.

This program will focus on one area of the zoo - the Canadian Wilds section. In the Canadian Wilds you will have the opportunity to photograph bears, wolves and bison amongst other species. You may even get the chance to take some shots of our ever-engaging penguins on the way! 

Working knowledge of your camera and its functions is required.

Registrations are accepted in the order in which fees are received. Please note that prices and dates are subject to change.

 PLEASE NOTE: Day-time parking in the North Parking Lot will not be included in your program price. 

*  Please pull a parking ticket upon entrance to the parking lot.
*  The $7 fee is payable at the Pay-On-Foot stations at the Zoo entrance, the Guest Relations desk,
    the pay station on the main north plaza or at the exit booth (credit card only at exit)
*  There is a 30-minute grace period for drop-offs
*  This parking ticket MUST be used in order for you to exit the parking lot.
