- Items NOT allowed on Zoo grounds
- balloons, bikes, tricycles, drugs and alcohol, roller blades,
skates, scooters, balls, frisbees, hackeysacks.
- Pets not allowed (except
for working dogs with appropriate documentation. It is advisable
to phone in advance, if possible, so our gate staff will know
about your arrival.)

of June 1, 2003 the Calgary Zoo is a smoke free environment.
Smoking is now prohibited except in three designated areas
- west of the Conservatory, west of Kitamba Cafe and south
of Safari Lodge Canada.
