Lynne
joined the Centre for Conservation Research in May 2003 as the
first recipient of the Conservation Research Fellowship sponsored
by Husky Energy and the Alberta Society for Professional Biologists.
Her work focused primarily on the northern
leopard frog (Rana pipiens) reintroduction project,
and she began a Masters of Science program through the University
of Calgary and the CCR studying movement patterns of juvenile
leopard frogs in Alberta. Lynne's past experience includes assisting
in various field research projects in the Kananaskis area and
she spent four months at Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre on Vancouver
Island. During this time, she completed an independent research
project focusing on wave-induced adaptations in the California
mussel (Mytilus californianus). Lynne completed a Bachelor
of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Calgary in
April 2003.
