I have begun my new duties of mentor to a young Ghanaian conservation scientist. We are the team leaders for the community sanctuaries initiative.

Calgary-supported projects are doing well at the Hippo Sanctuary and this last visit enabled me to observe progress, give a nudge here, and a push there, and to keep things on track.
